Single Day Tickets on Sale Friday, September 15, for 2018 Olympic Team Trials for Curling at Baxter Arena

Omaha, Neb. – Single day tickets for the 2018 Olympic Team Trials for Curling will go on sale Friday, September 15. The Trials, which will be held at Baxter Arena November 11th through the 18th, will determine the men’s and women’s teams competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Single day ticket prices range from $5.50 to $24 and include the morning and evening sessions held that day. Omaha Sports Commission President Wes Hall said ticket demand for the Curling Trials has far exceeded expectations and anticipates single day tickets will sell quickly.

“To date we have sold nearly 2,000 all session tickets for the Olympic Curling Trials and are on pace to set an American attendance record for the sport,” Hall said. “Curling is one of the fastest growing winter sports in the country and we encourage sports fans to come out and watch the competition to determine America’s representatives on the U.S. team competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics.”

Hall said the recent Curling Night in America made-or-TV event at Baxter was a tremendous success with more than 7,000 fans attending the three-day event. Hall said many area residents have been asking when single day tickets would be available and he expects interest to be high.
