OMAHA SPORTS COMMISSION AWARD SHOW

The Omaha Sports Commission holds an annual awards event called the OSCAS. We celebrate the best of Omaha sports — from the athletes to the coaches to people behind the scenes who make Omaha sports happen.

2025 OSCAS will kickoff May 29

The 7th Omaha Sports Commission Awards Show presented by The Lerner Company is set for Thursday, May 29, 2025, at The Relevant Center. Red carpet begins at 5:30pm and the show starts at 7:00pm. The Exclusive After Party promptly follows the show.

Tickets are now on sale for $80.

In true awards show fashion, the show highlights 8 awards: Female Athlete of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, Female Coach of the Year, Male Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, Moment of the Year, Steve Pivovar Sports Media Person of the Year, Dr. Jack Lewis Sportsperson of the Year, honoring nominees and announcing this year’s winner.

Following these awards, the Omaha Sports Hall of Fame Class is inducted, joining an elite list of our area’s best athletes, coaches, teams and sports figures of all time!

The Exclusive After-Party features a Q&A with the 2025 HOF Induction Class. Join in celebrating these inductees with a signature drink and dessert station.

A Home for the Greats

The Omaha Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 2006 with the goal of providing a permanent place to honor individuals with strong ties to Omaha and who have achieved tremendous success through athletics. The Omaha Sports Hall of Fame honors athletes and coaches who have highly excelled on their field of play. The Hall welcomes nominations of individuals who are either originally from Omaha or have spent a significant amount of time in the community.

The Omaha Sports Hall of Fame is currently housed at the Durham Museum in downtown Omaha. There are 93 athletes, coaches, teams and entities in the Omaha Sports Hall of Fame (as of 2022).
